Drin (River)

The Drin is a river in Albania, which empties into the Adriatic Sea near the city of Lezh. It starts at the confluence of the Black Drin and White Drin tributary rivers, in the city of Kuks. The 'Black Drin' (Drini i Zi in Albanian, Crni Drim in Macedonian) starts in the lake Ohrid and runs through the Republic of Macedonia and Albania. The 'White Drin' (Drini i Bardh in Albanian, Beli Drim in Serbian) starts in Kosovo.
