Dravograd

Dravograd (in German Unterdrauburg) is a small town and municipality with the same name in Slovenia, located at the crossing of the Slovenian-Austrian border by the Drava river. The municipality numbers about 9,000 inhabitants and is of area 105 km.

History

Geographical

Dravograd is located at northern part of Slovenia, at the confluence of three rivers: the Drava, the Meža and the Mislinja. The municipality consists of 24 settlements which are contained in 5 local communities: Dravograd, Črneče, Libeliče, Šentjanž pri Dravogradu, and Trbonje.
