Dragan Marusic

Dragan Marušič (born 1953) is a Slovene mathematician. From 1968 to 1972 he attended gymnasium in Koper. He studied undergraduate mathematics at the University of Ljubljana. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Reading under the supervision of Crispin Nash-Williams. His main research field is the algebraic graph theory, where he researches the symmetry of graphs and the functionality of finite groups on combinatorial objects. He is the founder of an algebraic graph theory and a theory of permutation groups in Slovenia. He is a professor at the Pedagogical faculty of the University of Ljubljana. In 2002 he received the Zois award for his topmost scientific achievement in the field of graph theory and algebra.
