Doveridge

Doveridge is a village on the borders of Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. Formerly a small village through which the original busy A50 road ran from Derby to Stoke-on-Trent (via Uttoxeter), this is now by-passed by the new dual-carriageway A50. Its name comes from it having a bridge over the river Dove (ie Dove(B)ridge), a tributary of the River Trent.
