Dorothy MilesDorothy Miles (19 August 1931-1993) (Dot Miles) was a sign language poetess and playwright who worked in the UK and U.S.. She was passionate about deaf issues, culture and sign language, and longed to bridge the gap between deaf and hearing people. The Dorothy Miles Cultural Centre in the UK is named after her.
