Dopamine Antagonist

A dopamine antagonist is a drug which serves the purpose of blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. These drugs are commonly coupled with a seratonin antagonist and are used as a treatment for certain kinds of psychosis. Common dopamine antagonists include olanzapine, quetiapine, and risperidone.
