Don C. Hoefler

Don C. Hoefler was an American journalist best known for coining the term "Silicon Valley" in a 1971 series of articles in Electronic News, called Silicon Valley, USA describing the rapid growth of high tech industrial development in the former farming region of Santa Clara County, California. He died in 1986 in South San Francisco, California.
