Don't Mess With Texas

"Don't mess with Texas" is an expression used by Texans to show pride in their home state, and also, apparently, to warn others not to disrespect it. It is officially a litter prevention campaign sponsored by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Since the campaign started in 1986, it has been producing television, radio and billboard advertisements educating Texans to keep their trash out of the state's roads.
