Dodge Rampage

The Dodge Rampage was a compact pickup truck based on Chrysler's L platform. First released as a 1982 model it was later given an American stable mate of Plymouth Scamp. It was only produced from 1982 to 1984. Available with a front wheel drive 2.2L inline carbuerated 4 cylinder motor the first year was serviceable with a 4 speed manual transmission. Performance was improved with the introduction of a 5 speed transmission in 1983.The Dodge Rampage was based on the very popular Dodge Omni and Horizon. Their high milage and low price were perfect for the time but far ahead of customer thinking and quickly fell out of favor, but they still have a large following and continue to excite people today.
