DiscordDiscord is a noun in the English language. In the television series ', Discord is the daughter of Zeus and Hera. She joins her brother. Ares, in his quest to destroy Hercules, and was killed by Xena. She was based off the goddess Eris in ancient Greek mythology, who was named Discordia''' in Roman mythology. Discord are also a band from Caherdavin in Limerick city, Ireland. The band members are Adrian O'Regan, John Burrowes, Rory O'Dwyer, Adrian De Clir and the infamous Martin Garcia Mortell. Their original music includes the tracks The Colour Of Winter, Sentence I Rise, 'Till The Last Breath, (Treacherous) Mother Krsk and The Affliction. You can read more about them at their official website. Discord is also another name for the Roman Goddess Discordia. Historic punk and alternative record label cited as starting the "DC" scene (1980-1986). Owned and operated by Minor Threat / Fugazi member Ian McKaye. The label is still in operation today though much of it's revenue is from re-issues of bands from it's heyday.
