Digital Monkey

Digital Monkey is a knitted mascot used to promote the now defunct UK television package ITV Digital. A series of high profile adverts featured the comedian Johnny Vegas alongside the monkey, which was originally available free to those who had purchased ITV Digital. Featuring a variety of T-Shirts, the monkey was in great demand following the collapse of the TV package, selling for hundreds of pounds on ebay. However, the monkey (simply monikered "Digital Monkey") was soon made available for general sale and has seen a boost in popularity after an appearance in the second series of award-winning British sitcom The Office.
