Diana Johnson

Diana Johnson is a Labour Party politician and former member of the London Assembly. She became a member of the London Assembly on 1 March, 2003 after the resignation of Trevor Phillips who became chair of the Commission for Racial Equality. She did not stand for re-election in 2004. In February 2004, she was selected as the Labour candidate for the next general election in the Hull North constituency in place of Kevin McNamara. Diana Johnson is a barrister and was a councillor in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets from 1994 to 2002.
