Diana (Sailor Moon)

Diana is the name of one of the feline characters in the Japanese anime series Sailor Moon. She is purplish-grey, and is the daughter of the two other central feline characters, Luna and Artemis. Just as her parents were guides to some of the central characters (Luna to Sailor Moon, and Artemis to Sailor Venus) Diana also acts as a guide to young ChibiUsa. Diana arrives from the future, and at first, shocks the two elder cats because they are not sure who she is or belongs to. Luna (the female cat) had then led to believe that Artemis was cheating on her in the future, but it is later revealed that she is the daughter of the two. In Roman mythology, Diana is the equivalent of the Greek Goddess Artemis, a goddess of the moon and of wild animals. In the anime, Diana is voiced by Nishihara Kumiko.
