Desford

Desford is a village in Leicestershire, UK. Desford contains a large secondary school and college, Bosworth College, numerous pubs, and an active sports club, Sport in Desford. Caterpillar_Inc. have a large manufacturing plant outside the village. A railway now devoted to freight traffic was first laid down in 1832 by George Stephenson and passes within a mile of the village. Newbold Verdon, Market Bosworth, and Hinckley are nearby.
