Derbyshire Mining Museum

The Mining Museum is located at Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, England. There is a mockup of a lead mine which children may safely experience and explore how the miners, and in particular how children were used in this dangerous aspect of our industrial past. You can purchase samples of the many semi precious gem stones and mined minerals from the shop. Well worth a visit when visiting the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District.Derbyshire lead mining history
