Denlson

Denlson, full name Denlson De Oliveira Araujo, (born August 24, 1977 in Diadema, Brazil) is a football winger, who in 1998 became the most expensive footballer in the world. Denlson broke the record when Spanish club Real Betis paid 22million for his services to So Paulo, the club Denlson has been with since 1995. He has been with Betis ever since, except a brief loan to Flamengo in 1999-2000. For Brazil, Denlson has been capped 61 times (as of 2005), scoring nine goals, since his debut in November 1996 against Cameroon. After helping his country to a second place finish at the 1998 World Cup, he then became a World Champion after Brazil won in 2002. Denilson Denilson
