Deepcut BarracksA United Kingdom army barracks in Surrey in which several violent deaths occurred in the 1990's. In June 1995, Private Sean Benton, of Hastings, East Sussex, was found dead at the Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut, with five bullet wounds to his chest. The British Army reported he committed suicide. In November 1995, Private Cheryl James, of Llangollen, Gwent, was found dead with a single bullet wound to her head at headquarters of the Royal Logistical Corps. The British Army reported she committed suicide.
