david mckee

David McKee is a British author and illustrator, chiefly of children's books and animations, including those starring Mr Benn, King Rollo and Elmer the patchwork elephant. Along with two of his friends, he founded the production company King Rollo Films, which has since produced many other hit animations including Spot the Dog and the animated stories within the BBC's flagship childrens program Fimbles. He has also illustrated books by other children's authors, including some of the more recent Paddington Bear books.
