David Dunlap Observatory

The David Dunlap Observatory hosts the largest optical telescope in Canada. The observatory is located in the Town of Richmond Hill, north of the City of Toronto, and is part of the University of Toronto. Astronomer C. T. (Tom) Bolton, who published the first observational demonstration of black holes made using the observatory facilities, is a University of Toronto professor of astronomy and astrophysics.
