David Daggett

David Daggett (December 31, 1764 - April 21, 1851) was mayor of New Haven, Connecticut. He was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, December 31, 1764. He was a member of Connecticut state house of representatives, 1791-96, 1805, Speaker of the Connecticut State House of Representatives, 1794-96, a member of Connecticut State Council, 1797, 1809-13, a United States Senator from Connecticut, 1813-19, a justice of Connecticut state supreme court, 1826-32, and the mayor of New Haven, Connecticut, 1828. He died in New Haven, Connecticut, and was interred at Grove Street Cemetery. Preceded by:
