David Clelland

David Gordon Clelland (born 27 June 1943) is a Labour politician in the United Kingdom, and is member of Parliament for Tyne Bridge. He was leader of Gateshead Council until 1985 when he won a by-election to the House of Commons. He was a whip from 1995 to 2001, when he was sacked.
