David William George Chidgey

), is a politician in the
United Kingdom
. He has been
Liberal Democrat
member of Parliament
for
Eastleigh
since he won it from the
Tories
in a
by-election
in
1994
. He retained the seat in the
1997
and
2001
general elections. He will stand down at the next general election.
