David Catching

David (Dave) Catching (b. 1961) is a United States musician from Memphis, Tennessee. He has played the guitar for well-known alternative rock bands Queens of the Stone Age, earthlings? and Mondo Generator. He is also a member of Eagles of Death Metal, Yellow #5, and The Gnarltones. He regularly appears on the music improv series, The Desert Sessions. Catching is also a co-owner and founder of The Rancho De La Luna recording studio in Joshua Tree. He currently resides in Joshua Tree, California and lists New Orleans, Louisiana as a second residence.
