Dark Throne

Dark Throne is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It was built by Lazarus, of Lazarus Software, who programmed it in PHP. There are four races (humans, goblins, elves and undead) to choose from. There are also four classes: fighter, thief, cleric and assassin. You build up your four main attributes: attack, defence, spy attack, and spy defence. You train troops, and buy weapons and upgrades to increase these, and can also allocate proficiency points. Every time you click on someone's unique link, they get an untrained citizen and some money. A recruiter has been officially implemented, where your clicks on other people's links are recorded and you are clicked back. A large community has built up around this game, and most players are part of one of the many alliances in the game. These are usually administered using forums. The game is currently in beta stage, with prizes promised for top players when the Golden Age (main game) starts. There is no cost to play the game - it is currently supported by advertising.
