Daren Puppa

Daren Puppa (March 23, 1965 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada) was a professional hockey player who played goaltender in the National Hockey League for the Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the fourth round, seventy-fourth overall in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Puppa also played for the AHL's Rochester Americans from 1985 to 1992. After moving on to become the Buffalo Sabres' star goalie he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs along with Dave Andreychuk. The two were eventually traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
