Danish Committee For Aid To Afghan Refugees

Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees (DACAAR) is a non-governmental organisation which seeks to provide sustainable livelihoods for all Afghans, including external refugees and internally displaced peoples. It operates both in the development of the national government and on village level. It was founded in 1984 by a consortium of Danish Refugee Council, MS - Danish Association for International Cooperation and Danish Peoples Aid. It currently employs more than 1000 people and has programmes in 22 of the 34 Afghan provinces.
