non-governmental organisation
which seeks to provide
sustainable livelihoods
for all
Afghans
, including external refugees and internally displaced peoples. It operates both in the development of the national government and on village level. It was founded in
1984
by a
consortium
of
Danish Refugee Council

MS - Danish Association for International Cooperation
and
Danish Peoples Aid
. It currently employs more than 1000 people and has programmes in 22 of the 34
Afghan provinces
.
