Daniel Morrissey

Daniel Morrissey was a senior Irish politician. He was first elected to Dil ireann in 1923 as a Labour Party TD for Tipperary. He fought the 1932 general election as an Independent candidate, but joined Cumann na nGaedhael the following year. He was appointed to the Cabinet under John A. Costello in 1948. Morrissey was elected to Dil ireann at every election until 1957 when he retired from politics. Morrissey, Daniel
