Daniel L. Buttry

Daniel L. Buttry has been a minister and pastor at the First Baptist Church of Dearborn, Michigan; since June 1997. He previously served for 9 years as the director of the Peace Program of the American Baptist Churches and as the American Baptist Representative to the United Nations. Prior to that, he was a pastor at the Dorchester Temple Baptist Church of Boston, Massachusetts. He has traveled to Burma, India, Liberia, Nicaragua, and Thailand. Buttry is a graduate of Wheaton College and the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Reverent Sharon Buttry and enjoys playing the guitar and writing Christian folk music.
