Dana Ztopkov

Dana Ztopkov (ne Ingrov, born in Karvin-Fryštt, September 19, 1922, exactly the same day as her husband Emil Ztopek) was an outstanding Czech athlete in her own right in throwing the javelin. She won the gold medal for javelin in the 1952 Summer Olympics (only an hour after her husband won the 5000 m), and the silver medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics. European champion 1954 and 1958.
