Dan Voiculescu is a Romanian politician and businessman. He is the founder and president of the Romanian Humanist Party, and also the owner of a potent media group, comprising the newspapers Jurnalul Naţional and Gazeta Sporturilor and the TV station Antena 1. Voiculescu has been accused many times of collaborationism with the Communist regime's Securitate, and these accusations were echoed in international media too, e.g. the Financial Times.
