Dan Hodge Trophy

The Dan Hodge Trophy is awarded to the outstanding college wrestler of the year. It was first awarded to T.J. Jaworsky of the University of North Carolina in 1995. It is awarded annually. The Hodge Trophy is named after Danny Hodge, an outstanding wrestler for the University of Oklahoma from 1951 to 1954. Hodge was a three time NCAA champion who went undefeated at 46-0 in intercollegiate competition. The only multiple winner of the Hodge Trophy is Cael Sanderson who won the award three times.
