Dagens Nyheter

Dagens Nyheter or DN is a daily newspaper in Sweden. It is published in Stockholm and aspires to full national and international coverage. It has the largest circulation of Sweden's newspapers, followed by Gteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet, and opinion leaders usually choose DN as the venue for publishing major debate articles. The stated position of the editorial page is "independently liberal". The name of the newspaper literally means "Daily News" (in the first page head, it is always written with a period at the end). Dagens Nyheter was founded by Rudolf Wall in 1864. It changed its format from the classic broadsheet to tabloid on October 5, 2004.
