Daegu World Cup Stadium

Daegu World Cup Stadium is a sports stadium located in Daegu, South Korea.

History

Construction was completed in May of 2001 at a cost of 265,000,000 USD. It was used as a football venue for the 2002 World Cup, and is the home stadium for Daegu FC of the Korea Professional Soccer League (K-League).

Venue

Daegu World Cup Stadium has seating for 68,000 people, and parking for 3550 cars. It's located 40 minutes by car from Daegu Airport (approximately 11 km). It employs a membrane construction.
