. It is situated between

. It is believed by some to be the site of the
Battle of Bosworth Field
. The village has a population of around 300 and contains a
13th century
church (St. James), a pub (the Dog and Hedgehog) and a hotel (the Ambion Court). The
Ashby Canal
runs through the village.
