Da'wah

Da'wah (Arabic: دعوة) refers to Islamic "witnessing" or prostylization to non-Muslims. It is usually considered wajib, mandatory, to teach non-Muslims about Islam. However, Muslims do not often seek out non-Muslims and overtly prostylize to them; it is usually seen as a better form of da'wah to set an excellent example of living through Islamic principles and to answer any questions about Islam truthfully and honestly.
