D- Concourse Express Via 6Th Avenue

The D-6 Avenue Express is one of the train routes in the New York Subway. It operates from the Norwood section of the Bronx to 34th Street-Herald Square in midtown Manhattan. The D previously went to Coney Island in Brooklyn, but currently ends at 34th Street because of work on the Manhattan Bridge until 2004. The Q-Broadway Express replaces the D in Brooklyn until then. It shares its route and stops with the B-6 Avenue-Express. However, the D is express and operates 24 hours daily, while the B is local and runs weekdays only.
