CybermageGeneral Information Cybermage (full title: Cybermage: Darklight Awakening) is a first-person shooter game created by Origin, and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in late 1995. Having many innovative ideas and features, it was worth checking but never became a bestseller because of high system requirements and skill level. Set in a cyberpunk reality, it was very dark and had an interesting atmosphere mixed with well-implemented RPG systems. The storyline is year 2044. Instead of governments, great and powerful corporations rule the world, and have complete control over every aspect of it. But some people didn't like the way situation developed - and formed the illegal rebellion groups. The corporations with two problems - competition between themselves, and destroying the rebellion - started to work on implant products. Soon, the first prototypes saw the light of the day. But you are a normal person, citizen of a huge metropolis - not a super-human in any way. When walking through one of the streets, you see a sniper aiming at a hybrid human. Desperate to save his life, you run to him. The bullets hit you. You wake up in a bio-gen tube, in a strange suit with a gem in your forehead. It is the Darklight, a gem that gives many magic powers to its user. Then, you hear gunshots and explosions - someone's looking for you. Crawling outside the bio-gen, you see the aftermath. You don't remember anything from your previous life. Now, you have to understand who you are and discover your history. Features - deep, interesting storyline
