Curry College

Curry College is a mostly undergraduate liberal arts college; originally located on Boston's Commonwealth Avenue, it is now located in Milton, Massachusetts, seven miles from the city, on a campus partly comprised of the former Joan of Arc Academy. It has other campuses in Plymouth, and Worcester, and two classroom locations at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, and the Medford Police Academy in Medford. The school was founded in 1879 by Anna Baright (who was later joined and married by the school's namesake, Samuel Silas Curry, in 1882). It was originally called the School of Elocution. Curry operates a radio station under the callsign of WMLN on 91.5 FM.

Academics

In addition to its undergraduate programs, Curry offers M. A. in Criminal Justice and Master of Education degrees, and a graduate certificiate in Educational Therapy.

Athletics

Curry College's athletic teams are nicknamed the "Colonels". The ice hockey team plays at the Max Ulin Hockey Rink.
