Crivitz is an impact crater on Mars. It is named after the small town Crivitz in western Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. The crater has a diameter of 6.1 kilometers and is located at 14.5 deg southern latitude and 174.7 deg eastern longitude on Mars, within the larger crater Gusev. The name was proposed by Stephan Gehrke in 2002, at the time a research associate of the TU Berlin working on cartographic software and on visit at the USGS.
