Crdoba

Crdoba most commonly means Crdoba, Spain, a famous city in Spain inhabited since the time of ancient Rome, and the seat of the Emir of Crdoba and the Caliph of Crdoba. It is also the name of Crdoba Province, Spain, in which the city is located, and several places in the New World named after the Spanish city: The crdoba is also the unit of currency of Nicaragua. In the United States, cities named for Crdoba are universally spelled Cordova. Chrysler produced a car called the Chrysler Cordoba from 1975 to 1983. See also:
