Corporal Acts Of Mercy

The Corporal Acts of Mercy are Christian acts that are to keep the two greatest commandments; "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind.' This is the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is like it, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.'" The seven Corporal Acts of Mercy are:
  • To feed the hungry.
  • To give drink to the thirsty.
  • To clothe the naked.
  • To visit the imprisoned.
  • To shelter the homeless.
  • To visit the sick.
  • To bury the dead.
