Cornelius

Cornelius (fem. Cornelia) was the nomen of the patrician gens Cornelia, one of the important families of ancient Rome. The Scipiones, Dolabellae, and Cinnae were notable branches of the family. For the women of the Cornelii, see Cornelia.
