Cornales

See text The Cornales are an order of flowering plants, basal among the asterid group of dicotyledons. Newer classifications include the following families: Under the older Cronquist system the order instead comprised the families Cornaceae, Garryaceae, and Alangiaceae, and was placed among the Rosidae.
