. Coral Records is fondly remembered by early
rock & roll
fans as the home of the incomparable
Buddy Holly
and
The Crickets
. Coral was swallowed up by
MCA Records
in the late
1960s
. In the late 1950's Debbie Reynolds briefly recorded such songs as 'Tammy' for Coral.
