Coole Park

Coole Park, owned by Lady Gregory, is best known for its swans which appeared in W B Yeat's poem, Wild Swans at Coole. Lady Gregory was a friend of W B Yeats, and she invited him to stay there. W B Yeats was inspired by the beauty of the swans and hence wrote Wild Swans at Coole.
