Convertible Mark

The convertible mark (bs,hr: konvertibilna marka, sr: конвертибилна марка) is the currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is divided into 100 feninga. It was established as such by the 1995 Dayton Agreement. The marka in the name refers to the Deutsche Mark, the currency to which it was pegged until 2002 at a par exchange rate of 1:1. In 2002, following a currency board principle, the currency was put on a fixed exchange rate to the euro. Coins
