Control Freak (Teen Titans)

Control Freak is a villain in the Teen Titans animated series. To sum him up with a quote from the show, he's "A couch potato with a souped-up remote". His debut episode was in Season Two, "Fear Itself". In this ep, he was attacking a video store with his remote, which can control inanimate objects. He didn't play a major role in it, and was taken down easily. In his next appearance is Season Four, "Episode 257-494", he had broken out of jail and created a machine to turn himself into a TV signal. While Cyborg was trying to figure out a way to reverse it, Beast Boy's meddling got the Titans brought into the TV world too. After making their way through numerous TV and movie spoofs, it came down to a battle between Beast Boy and Control Freak's knowledge of the show they were in, and BB sent CF into a pocket dimension in the show. Reportedly, he will be escaping in Season Five. Reportedly, Control Freak was an idea for a villan in the comics, but was not finalized and therefore never used. He was redesigned for the animated series. Appearances:
  • Fear Itself
  • Episode 257-494 (Originally titled "Don't Touch that Dial")
*For Real (confirmed Season 5 ep)
