contraposition (dict)

Contraposition

In logic, contraposition is the tautology
(P \rightarrow Q) \Leftrightarrow (\neg Q \rightarrow \neg P).
In logic, it is often useful when proving a
P \rightarrow Q-type
statement, to simply prove its contrapositive.
