Constantin Dascalescu

Constantin Dăscălescu dehs-keh-les-koo (1923 - 16 May 2003) was a Romanian politician that served as a Prime Minister of Romania (21 May 1982 - 22 December 1989) during the communist rule of Nicolae Ceauşescu until the 1989 Romanian Revolution. After the revolution, in 1991, he was sentenced for life in prison, but after five years he was released on medical grounds.
