Concert In Bad Taste

Every year, in late February or early March, the Chorallaries of MIT (a coed a cappella group) put on "The Nth Annual Concert in Bad Taste". Started in the depths of time by other MIT a cappella groups, the Chorallaries have been spearheading the effort for at least the last 20 years. Bad Taste is a concert devoted solely to off-color, nerdy, controversial, offensive, and often humurous material; a good-faith effort is made to offend everybody equally, but no quarter is given. Popular topics include: disgusting sexual references; mocking the MIT administration; lambasting Harvard, Wellesley, Simmons and other colleges in the region; and disgusting sexual references. The concert is usually about 2 1/2 hours long, with a mixture of skits, songs and inane interludes.
